Tessa is the founder of Tessa Foley Interiors and the creator of the blog, Nine and Sixteen Home. Established in 2010, Nine and Sixteen became an online journal dedicated to celebrating the simple joys of good living and creating a welcoming home. After Tessa’s home was published, she received interest from readers seeking decorating help with their own homes and she began offering online consultations to clients across the country.

Tessa’s signature style, combining coastal New England with classic English details, is timeless, feminine and warm. Her designs are inspired by her European heritage and summer vacations spent along the sandy shores of Nantucket Island. There is an effortless mix of beautifully layered textiles that define her spaces and serve as the jumping off point for her design plans. Her goal is to help clients create the framework for a home that will evolve over time and provide a beautiful backdrop for everyday living.

Tessa works on local projects but specializes in virtual design, working with clients from coast to coast. She received her degree from Indiana University and spent 12 years in corporate brand management prior to starting her own brand and decorating business. She lives in Cincinnati with her husband, two sons and their spoiled golden retriever, Quincy.
